I took this photo on a crisp, early spring morning in Sandy Hook, NJ. The surf was huge and wind was strong. My favorite kind of conditions.

That day the surf was so big, but also calm at the same time… there were rolling waves as far as I could see. And then those cotton candy clouds… unforgettable morning.

The following few pictures were taken on a very special morning in Manasquan. The waves were huge… but the best part was the hazy mist, and the sun that was trying to burn through it. It created this gorgeous cinematic effect, and I am glad I was there to capture it.
